Exotic Vacation Places

This weekend, Bar Refaeli was spotted having a vacation in Mexico with one of her girlfriend. This sexy supermodel was relaxing with a tiny black bikini in a hotel poolside. What made it special, this was not the first time Bar Refaeli spent a holiday in Mexico. She was visiting Mexico couple times before with her on-and-off boyfriend, actor Leonardo DiCaprio.



In late 2008, Bar Refaeli and Leonardo DiCaprio had a getaway in Mexico and visited the historic ruins in Tulum. It was an ancient temple of Maya, and located on 39 ft cliff along the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea in the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. The archaeological site is relatively compact (compared with many other Maya sites in the vicinity), and is one of the best-preserved coastal Maya sites.

The landscapes of this region are extremely varied and frequently very beautiful. The highlands are sunny, warm by day but pleasantly cool and invigorating at night. Most of the Yucatan Peninsula is low-lying, tangled scrub in the north, dense jungle in the wetter south. This is the area where the famous Mayan sites are found. The coast of the Yucatan has some fine beaches, and the heat here is tempered by the winds of the Caribbean.

While earlier in the same year, she and Leo also visited Mexico, they were spent a holiday in the resort city of Puerto Vallarta. This is an exotic city on the Pacific Ocean's Bahia de Banderas in the state of Jalisco. Because of its beauty, this city often used as a movie set, one of it was Ben Stiller's Heartbreak Kid.

Other pupular landmarks of Puerto Vallarta would be Parish Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, City Hall, and Playa Les Muertos (Beach of The Dead) - the city's largest public beach. Legend has it the beach's name stems from a battle between pirates and local miners after which bodies remained strewn on the beach.



So, those are the place where Bar Refaeli and her boyfriend visited during their vacation in Mexico. I wonder which is the more beautiful, seeing Bar Refaeli in bikini, or the exotic nature of Mexico? While for the country itself, there are many more tourist objects that worth visiting. I might get down to that on the next post.

Hawaii is surely one of the most exotic places on earth. It consisting of eight beautiful main islands. Unfortunately most of the people only familiar with the island of Hawai'i and Maui. What inspired me to write this article was when I saw a movie called "A Perfect Getaway" recently. This thriller cinema exploits the beauty of the western Hawaii island, Kauai.

The main characters from this movie followed a trail called Kalalau Trail. The trail is a trail along Na Pali coast on the north shore of Kauai island. It runs approximately 11 miles (18 km) from Ke'e Beach to Kalalau Valley. Experienced hiker usually only need a day to finish this trail, while others might need 2 days and decide to camp along the trail.

The wilderness park in Kalalau Valley is a conservation area, thus you need to have a special permit issued by Hawaii State Parks to camp there. Even with this permit, you can't camp in two consecutive nights beyond this valley. If you are a fan of Hawaii, get a custom trading pins of your favorite location.

On the base of Kalalau Valley you'll find the final destination of the trail, The Kalalau Beach. Because this area is very secluded, there are rumors of people in hiding there. Nudist, Hippies, and war veteran are said to looking for a solitude from civilization there, although often they were chased by rangers that force them to hide.

The current of the water around the beach is very strong, making it almost impossible to swim. But if you can ride a kayak, then you might want to sail along the beach to find a very stunning sea caves. This Kalalau Trail really offers an adventure for those who were bored with a usual vacation trip on holiday.

By the way, I mentioned before that Kauai used as a set on "A Perfect Getaway" movie. Now, beside Kalalau Trail this island is very exotic and have lots tourist object, some other movies were filmed in here, including Jurassic Park, Lilo & Stitch, King Kong (remake), Six Days Seven Nights, and Donovan's Reef. The 2010 Rio de Janeiro Carnival gonna be held pretty soon, and I guess the Brazilian people know a good way to warming up. Most of you maybe never heard of Brazil Underwear Day, because this year event that held on February 9, 2010 is only the 4th edition.

Brazil Underwear Day is a chance for more conservative, self-conscious Brazilians to cover up one last time before carnival begins. Yup, in the upcoming Rio carnival you'll see people dress up less than that.

This Underwear Day event was sponsored by Finissimo, Brazilian fashion website. Men and women models wear their sexiest lingerie and went down to the most crowded place in the city, such as stadium, mall, or bus station. Finissimo stated this event was for a more appreciation for the unseen garment, said that underwear is the first thing you put on and will be the last one to taken off.
