Traveling with Baby

Most of the time parents always hesitate about traveling when they're just having a newborn baby. They can't even imagine going somewhere far with flying or other transportation, when they need to take a suitcase with full equipment just for going to supermarket next door with their kid.

The best way to travel with baby is by riding your own car. This way, we can make sure that we can carry all the necessary equipment that usually we have to leave when using public transportation, such as baby bouncer chairs. Besides, with personal ride, we can stop and taking a break anywhere and anytime we want.

Some other important stuffs that need to be carried when traveling with an infant are: Food and milk, first aid kit, diaper, baby's bowl and utensil, travel chair, sun protection, blanket, crib and baby bouncer, pacifier, warming food's tool, and breast pump.


Now, this is a short guide for car journey with a baby:

• Use a customize seat that fit and comfort for your baby. Make sure all straps are safely fastened.
• Place the baby on the back seat, never near the airbag.
• Operate the child locking system for the car doors. Child and baby is very curious creature, and door handle might be very tempting for them.
• Place the window's shade protection. A long sun exposure is not good for baby.
• Dress baby in light layers of clothing - as the temperature might fluctuate, so you can easily adjust the baby's clothing for his/her comfort.
• Beware when feeding the baby, there are a risk of choking when the road is bumpy.
• Choose the traveling hour in your baby's nap/sleep time. When you can't, make a stop every 2-3 hours to give your baby chance to step out from the car.
